Professional Experience:
Taras has over 15 years of serving international companies in Ukraine and managing international legal matters on behalf of Ukrainian companies.
At Hillmont Partners, he leads a team of associates advising and representing clients in matters involving international financing, investments, corporate governance, international contracts, employment and IP rights.
His recent experience includes advising an international investment group on financing construction of a mall in Ukraine, advising the owner of top-10 alcoholic drinks brand in Ukraine on auditing and protection of their brand portfolio in Ukraine and abroad, advising an international consultancy firm on issues of corporate governance and labour law of Ukraine.
Prior to joining Hillmont Partners, Taras spent almost 10 years at leading international law firms, with his latest position being head of the dispute resolution practice at the Kyiv office of CMS.
Taras’s corporate and commercial clients can benefit from his experience in complex cross-jurisdictional disputes, including arbitration, litigation, investigation and asset recovery operations on an international level. This provides him with an eye for risks and vulnerabilities of each structure or transaction that a client is considering to go through with in Ukraine.
With Taras’s advice our clients are able to make well-informed decisions on implementing the best options so as to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities that ensure the sustainable development of a client’s business in Ukraine and abroad.
