Professional Experience:
Mykola Orlov has been supervising work on major international projects in the pharmaceutical business for over 12 years. For the last 3 years he has been involved in structuring 10 Ukrainian operations of several international pharmaceutical groups, including enforcement of both Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian antimonopoly and anticorruption legislation (using forms FCPA and UK Bribery Act). He advised protecting the tax-exempt status of fifteen pharmaceutical representative offices in the course of tax audits, the results of a comprehensive tax audit are receipt of certificates, which confirmed the absence of state claims to their maintaining of tax records and fulfillment of tax obligations.
Law Offices of OMP develops and implements its own IT solutions and software platforms for pharmaceutical businesses, such as OMP marketing (software platform to inform pharmacists and pharmacy chains by pharmaceutical manufacturers) and OMP marketing MD Liaison (platform for healthcare professionals). Mykola headed these projects at all stages of the product’s creation.

Mykola Orlov is an author of numerous publications and workshops on the regulation of promotion of medicines, tax and legal aspects of the operation of representative offices of multinational pharmaceutical groups in Ukraine and legal and tax implications of pharma distribution agreements.
